Self-taken pictures are extremely common. The two most common forms are a picture taken at arm's length (usually with the camera held high in the air to create a dramatic angle on the subject), and self portraits taken in a mirror, perhaps the form of picture most commonly associated with MySpace. Webcam pictures are also popular. All above mentioned forms of photography are most likey popular because of their ease and proximity to the user's computer.
